Cosmetic surgery
« on: February 13, 2008, 10:22:14 PM »
Would anyone here have cosmetic surgery?

My wife would and I wondered how many other people have considered having anything done?
I hope we get better weather with the new year I am getting rained out.

Good luck to everyone with respective visa applications.

I would have liposuction done if I had that kind of money to burn.

But I don't so my flabby thighs are here to stay.  ;D

I have always wanted a tummy tuck, but after my gall bladder surgery last month now I am not so sure. I was so scared of being put to sleep. So now I just don't know anymore.

I need to lose about 20lbs and then I am getting a TT and a breast lift done on the NHS!!

I would also like to have a inner thigh lift but doubt I will get this done on the NHS so might have to save up for it..I am not a vain person but I don't like all this extra loose skin I have now....YUCK!

This thread is not going to end well.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say

I've had intermittent thoughts for years, about a bust reduction.

I guess my LASIK I had a few years ago counts as cosmetic surgery, so count me as someone who has had it.

I plan to have cosmetic surgery when I am around 40 for a tummy tuck, breast lift and liposuction. This is after I have kids and have breastfed. I am good about working out, but things could look better, but after a few pregnancies, I am going to need some help! And I think we'll be able to afford it, but if not, I will be fine. It's really popular here in Dallas, TX to get work done, so i think I will be able to get it done with a lot of trust in the doctors that have so much experience. I would love to get lipo now, but we don't have the extra funds at the moment.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with plastic surgery.  My grandma had a facelift back in the 70's, my aunt has breast enlargments, and my sister was the most recent person to follow in the family footsteps with a breast enlargement.  I would be totally open to it in the future.  I don't think it's always about striving for the perfect size 8-Barbie doll physique.  I think often it's about getting to somewhere you feel comfortable or removing the one body hang up you have.

I'm all for it. I've had my teeth done (veneers) and plan on having my boobs put back where they belong!

You can get it done on NHS? How? That might change my mind.

Not easily. It would have to be an exceptional case and your GP would have to prove that it would correct a problem that is having an impact on either your physical or mental health. At least that's how it works in the PCT that I work for.

If I manage to shift the excess weight I've got now and if I had the money I'd have a tummy tuck, breast lift and neck lift with no hesitation whatsoever....
