Not sure about this .. could be like Dr Who I suppose or it could turn out like Plan 9 from Outer Space after Bela Lugosi died and they had someone else finish his part with a cape draped across their face the whole time.

I think it will work, I'm excited too see it.

It's a lovely tribute too go on with the movie and finish it.

It IS a Terry Gilliam film.  It wasn't going to make sense before this, why start now?

On the other hand, this isn't like they rounded up some look-alikes. Pretty serious acting talent. And Coling Farrel.

I think it's an interesting idea. Kind of like I'm Not There, with Heath Ledger, Cate Blanchett, etc. playing different apsects of Bob Dylan's character. Besides, how can you really go wrong with Johnny Depp? I mean, come on!

I think that it is lovely that they are going to move forward and finish the film while retaining his work.  A nice tribute.

That's OK. I probably wouldn't have hated it if Edward Scissorhands hadn't existed - I kind of thought he was just doing the same character all over again. But I'd still rather see Johnny Depp in a bad movie than most people in a good movie!
