We are flying with our cats from Dallas to London. Is there any other option besides driving from London to Stirling, Scotland?
I made it!!

Not sure about your options, but for what it's worth, I flew into Gatwick with two cats and had to make a six-hour drive up to near Newcastle.  I was more worried about the drive than the flight, as my cats were extremely vocal about their hatred of cars while in the US; turns out they were absolute angels on the drive up north!  I think they were so relieved to see us again after the flight experience that they decided to be on their very best behavior in case we decided to send them back to the US!  ;D  In the end, it wasn't anything like I was afraid of (six hours of constant yowling peppered with occasional puking from the smaller one) - Toby curled up in the back window, Xander in my lap up front and there they remained for the vast majority of the journey, silent as mice.  So if it's the drive you're fearing.... :)

DH and I took the train with our dog to Glasgow from Manchester when I moved over.

My cats flew from Dallas to London to Glasgow with no problems in 2006. My wife and I were already in Glasgow, and my sister sent our 2 cats over. They flew via Continental to London Gatwick and were cleared there (we kept in close contact with where they cleared in London) and then they were put onto a flight from London to Glasgow via British Airways Cargo. Their flight details were sent with them, and as I understood it, as soon as they were cleared in London, they were immediately taken to British Airways. Then you could just take a cab/train/car from Glasgow to Stirling. They could also fly into Edinburgh since that is a little bit closer.

It was the same process for them when they flew back! :)

Let me know if you have any questions (feel free to email me or PM) and I would be happy to get back to you! Very familiar with the whole process...it's an important one!

Thanks for your input. We made the drive up from London six weeks ago Thursday. The kids are safe and sound. We also found out that Gizmo LOVES car rides as long as he's not in a carrier and can see out the window.  ;D

Excellent news! :D  Toby and Xander are the same way - they love riding in the car as long as they are free to look out the windows and aren't in carriers. :D
