The beauty of the FA Cup
« on: March 10, 2008, 05:19:33 PM »
This one is really for Tykeman....

Nice one!  Have you recovered from the hangover yet?   ;D

For the first time since 1992, a team other than the Big Four (Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool) will be winning the Cup, and even though I am a Gooner I think this is a great thing for English football.

My money is on West Brom now.

Barnsley v Chelsea was what the FA Cup is all about!!!  I almost passed out when the whistle blew and they'd been able to hold them!

I would love to think that Barnsley could go the whole way.

Down here in South Wales, I'm afraid we can't agree with you.  Shouldn't be too greedy though...if we are going to win the grand slam, but it would be very nice to see Cardiff getting something.

I don't post here much - as you can see.

Hahah!!  yeh Peedal, I had some 'other supporters' laughing when Barnsley got us! absolutley fantastic that they got Chelsea as well !!!

don't know about you, but I 'hate' chelsea more than our traditional rivals 'Manure' !! and out of the top 3 left, I much prefer Arsenal !

What are the chances of us seeing chelsea again in the champions league and knocking them out again !! and hopefully Manure and Arsenal go out in the next round! ;)

Tonight I'm thinking we should get through..... :)

haha~!!!!

well good thing is, out of the top 3 left, I'll always 'kinda support' Arsenal compared to the other 2 anyday!

I'm always happy when Chelsea and Manure lose !!

Since Henri's departure, I think you guys have played fantastically! for a little while I thought the team would wobble alot without him, but you guys haven't really missed him at all !!

I just hope we at Liverpool can get some sort of consistency going even if Rafa's rotation thing does stay in place..  the new 'link up' play with Stevie G and Torres is looking very promising indeed!...

Gettin some nosh and then over to a mates place to watch the game!

Walk On !!!!!

Oh I've just seen this!  Thanks!

Yes....I've recovered but Saturday was some night, both at the game and then in town afterwards....although trying to get to the bar was a struggle!

It's just about sunk in now.

Hopefully now they can go all the way - that would just be unbelievable, you just don't expect it when you follow a smaller side.

I've rearranged my visit to DF as I was due to go the day before the cup final! Fortunately my inconvenient annoyance of last week meant I hadn't managed to book the flights!

Just about to head off to tonights league game, hopefully 3 points to ease the relegation worries.

Thank you very much....and well done on Liverpool's progression in the Champions League.

Just keeping an eye on when the semi final tickets go on sale......took them til 2000 to play at the old Wembley Stadium (wasn't built when they won the Cup), but we'll be among the first clubs to play at the new one!

We'll be back for the semis the week after next. It's my 3 year old's first taste of football and it won't be the last. ;)

As an Ipswich Town fan I'll be going for Barnsley. Come on lads!

But the real winner is football!

Wow!  Where abouts are your seats?  I hope we put on a show for you then, though it's going to be a tough game.

We are heading down on Saturday about 10am, stopping off on the way for lunch, beers and to watch the 1st semi. Staying over on Sat and Sun night so should be a good weekend - if the result goes our way particularly!

Thankfully the Tube strike has been called off as well!  ;D

Come on Yooooo Reds!

I'm not sure where the seats are, but we are guests of a major building society so I guess they should be good ones.  I'm very excited.

I hope you have a great weekend.  I'm hoping for a Barnsley v Baggies final.

You are probably in the club seats in that middle tier.

Hoping for a Barnsley v Pompey final, as our keeper is on loan from West Brom and would not be able to play against them.

it's even making the news in Tinsel Town!
