Seen, or tasted?  I don't mind if they try it and hate it, rather than just rejecting it because it SOUNDS weird.  After all, people glaze hams, so it's not that far out of the ordinary.  But, to each their own.

Seen...couldn't get him to try it!!! Its too bad, because syrup on bacon and sausage, is YUM!

Thanks guys.  :)

The peas are frozen peas, cooked in a tiny amount of chicken stock (only about halfway up the peas), with shallots.   Then i mixed a bit of butter and flour and dropped it in to thicken it / make a sauce, and then added a sliced up little gem lettuce.

That does look beautiful!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

That sounds really good.  And I hate peas!

I take pics of my food almost every day for my blog, even though I haven't been good about update it lately, I have a backlog of pics!

We had ham, although I was pleasantly surprised that my brother wasn't there for dinner last night and they gave me the chicken patty that was supposed to be for him! We also had some au gratin potatoes, corn cassrole, and biscuits. Chocolate cake for dessert.

We went out and I had an all-seafood Easter dinner. Green lip mussels followed by sea bass fillets on smoked salmon risotto!  ;D

I have friends who think its vile as well- One English friend (living in the US) thought it was the most disgusting thing he'd ever seen foodwise!

Strange. Not like sweet/savoury flavor combination is unfamiliar to a British palate.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Wait, why would they have just a chicken patty for him when the rest of you have said you hate ham too  ???

They didn't. It was for him the night before, Saturday night. He likes ham.
