Mailing food to the UK
« on: March 24, 2008, 07:24:18 PM »
What can we mail to the UK?

We wanted to send over some dried chillis and a few containers of store-bought seasoning. But after looking at the food standards website we're not sure whether we'll get a huge fine.

Lots of people mail stuff over all the time!

I'd say just stay away from meat, meat products, and any kind of fresh produce and you'll probably be just fine
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I think there is a list on the UK Customs site of what you cannot send.
