I feel like writing to RTD and saying, "look, the whole bit with the nuclear holocaust and the labor camps was grim, you know, but if you REALLY wanted to push things to the extreme, you'd have made the Noble family move to Middlesbrough."  ;D

Then Donna would have had to run out of the room - shrieking hysterically... :P

It was EXcellent!  All a huge cliff-hanger.  Daleks, Captain Jack, ROSE, Sarah Jane(!).  Fan-bloody-tastic.

It was a good one.  I've not been a fan of this season, but this and the Library episodes have definitely been a bit freaky.  If it freaks me out, then it's a great dr. who in my book.  But that's just my opinion.

I got my mom hooked on Doctor Who partway through S3 last year and she'll re-watch the S1 & S2 DVDs over and over but she doesn't like S4 that much either.

Oh my gosh!!!!!  I'm dying!!!  That was one of the worst cliffhangers ever!!! (worst in a this may just kill me waiting kind of way.)

Can't believe others haven't liked this series.  I mean, I have absolutely loved the interplay with Donna and the Doctor.  It was so much better than the last series (although there were a handful of great episodes last series).

Loved this ep.  It was . . . well, operatic!

Was going to ask if you were a member of the ep comm then I clicked on the recent request post for The Stone Rose and saw your comment. :D

Can I beg favours?  The whole reason we had two threads before were to protect some of us from spoilers.  I want to be able to chat with you all, but DO NOT want to be spoiled on next week's episode.  If anyone is going to put spoilers in or comments on any rumours of cast changes, can they announce them first and hide them well so I don't inadvertently read them?

I feel the same way - as do others here.  Mindy and I discussed this a while back and she edited the first post in this thread to include our policy - anything up to and including the current ep is fair game after 7pm UK time, and spoilers for future eps should be placed in white text.  See here:

That's funny because I just went back and looked the first thread to see what the actual rule was.  I don't want to know anything.

LOL! :D

I have managed to stay unspoiled for *everything* this season other than the fact that Rose was coming back (and even then I didn't know when).  I am terrified that my luck is going to run out before next Saturday!!

Wow!!!  That episode was amazing!  I can't believe we have to wait a week to see what happens :(
