And now - there's Sarah Jane's son - what's going to happen there?  Hmmmm. ???

Ah, but he had already been introduced in 'The Sarah Jane Adventures', a kids spin off that was around last year, so he's not a new character to those of us who were geeky enough to set Sky + for this as well....

Saturday was awesome! Utterly brilliant!

And Anna.... :-* for putting the spoilers in white text!  Great idea!  Now everyone is happy.  I have kept spoiler free so far, other than reading in this thread about Rose coming back, and you are a star for keeping it so!

:) I'm not sure if they're really spoilers or just speculation, but to be safe, I figured some people wouldn't want to see it...and the lovely original poster (who right now I can't remember) requests spoilers in white on the first post ;)  So, not my original idea ;)

I really liked the Sarah Jane Adventures, though watching the pilot I didn't like it at first.  But it grew on me, and I love Lis Sladen, too.  (and John Barrowman said in Torchwood magazine that he has a crush on her. hehe)

T-3 days until the finale! and T-6 days until I meet John Barrowman at a Maria taping in Toronto!

I am gutted this series has come to an end so quickly.  Roll on the Christmas special (if I can get my family to be quiet through it this year!).

My aunt had never seen Doctor Who, and my mom, cousin, and I all wanted to watch the Christmas special and we wound up having to explain *everything* to my aunt and had to re-watch the special the following day!

I know.  I love Saturdays just for Dr. Who.  They will seem a bit dull without him to look forward to.  How sad is that?!?

Did anyone catch the bit at the beginning of last week's ep where the Doctor asked the milkman what day it was, and the guy said "Saturday!" and he said, "Great!  I love Saturdays!"  Hee! :D  He totally watches his own show!

I caught that remark but didn't really "get it" until just now. Ha!

So...when can we talk about last night's episode???  :o

I really enjoyed watching dr. who with other whovian nerds like me.  It was fantastic, speculating what will happen next, and de-constructing what happened to analyse it (see the nerd part of the first sentence).  I do need to re-watch it because I seemed to miss all the good lines.  Was not really happy about what happened with Rose.  THE SMALL BIT IS A SPOILER, APOLOGIES... Sarah Jane totally deserved her own doctor more than I thought Rose did.  But, I'm not bitter, I swear!   ;)

Wow, I am a classic whovian rather than enjoying the new stuff.  How do you become pretentious about Dr. Who?  Back under my crazy about classic who rock now.

Dude, I certainly brought the Whovian crazy with me last night.  ;D  You soooo weren't alone.

First impressions of the ep - man, RTD is smoking the good crack, but at least he ships Doctor/Rose. ;)  Need to rewatch before I really make my mind up.  Am devastated over Donna, thought. :(

I'm so not happy with RTD about Donna.  Not cool Russell!  SO NOT COOL!

On the other hand, Rusty did tie up all his loose ends for the most part and is leaving things with a blank slate for Moffat.

I'm still giggling over German Daleks, though. :D

That's kinda what I figured he was doing.  I liked the German daleks as well.  It was a nice touch.

That really sucks about Donna. :(  But they did tie things up - clean canvas & all... :)

The German Daleks were ace & Dalek Caan was full of crap... :P
