This episode really changed my mind about Donna as well. She is fast becoming my favourite Dr's companion.  The watergun was brilliant!

Can I post about the trailer at the end of this recent episode or will I get into trouble?  Also, can I geek out a little more and relate it to the classic dr?  Sorry, saw something that really excited me.   [smiley=smitten.gif] [smiley=blush.gif]

For those who don't know me very well... HUGE dr. who fan since a young age.  So much so, my text message is the dr. who theme.  Big fat geek.   :-X

As far as I'm concerned, anything that aired with the episode tonight (so, trailers for the next ep, DW confidential, etc.) is fair game.  Post (and geek!) away!

It sort of looked like the dr might possibly be back working around the army.  I'm sort of hoping so, because I loved when he was a part of UNIT and how he played off of the army folk.  I wish they'd do more of that in this series.  I think David Tennant could do really well being the dr. playing off very disciplined army personnel.

Also, I really really liked this episode better than previous two.  Phew... feeling better now.

I want an Ood to help me with cleaning house.  I'd treat it kindly.  Does that make me an awful person? :-[

Oooh, yes.  Ten is quite definitely the Anti-Soldier.

I've been rewatching Nine with DH and noticed the bit in Aliens of London where the spaceship crashes in the Thames and UNIT cordons off the area - Rose suggests they take the TARDIS in and the Doctor says very hastily "no, no, better not, i used to know some of them once upon a time" or something to that effect - hee! :)

I've had to stay away from this thread until now as I've only just seen Saturday's episode...though I switch off before the trailer, so I'll have to be careful!

I loved this episode...though feel like a total sap cos I cried at the end.  Donna is just getting better and better - she really brings something out in the Doctor that Rose and Martha didn't.  He seems a bit less self centred.

But great storyline, and great special effects.  When the boss guy turned into an Ood...that was amazing!

I'm rewatching the old Baker's...currently on Deadly Assasin...

Dude, I cried at the end.  And Donna is just turning out to be really freaking fantastic!  She knows how to keep him grounded.

The Deadly Assassin (the first three parts, anyway) was on telly a couple of weeks ago - I have to say that John Simm's Master scares me a lot more than Pratt's Master in that serial!

Sims was good as the master.  He's not my favourite but definitely good.

!! Agreed.

Have to say the scene where the Doctor met Donna's mum and grandad was hysterical though... "YOU!"  ;D

I love Bernard Cribbins.  I'm frantic waiting to know if he's okay....though I bet the Doctor saves him somehow!!!

Donna's Grandad is awesome.  Heck, Donna is awesome!  I love the Doctor-Donna dynamic.

I think he needs a grandfather companion as well.
