Project 365
« on: April 10, 2008, 09:02:47 AM »
I'm starting mine today.  Some of my friends do it and I LOVE looking at theirs.  Anyone else doing it?  And tips?  Do you do it at work?  Because I plan to and have already warned them. What site do you use to store your pictures?

:)

Good thread! And maybe people could post links to their Project 365s (if they don't mind sharing) so others could look at them?

Mine's here!

Oooh, GREAT idea for a thread! I've been contemplating starting one for a while now but have been wondering if I should wait for a landmark date to start it, or just go for it. Since my 40th b-day is in October I thought that would be the perfect time to start, but I don't really want to wait that long....

I've been intrigued by this for a while, it seems like a really neat idea!  I do have a landmark date coming up in about a month so I could start it then. Hmm.

I'd just go for it.  I planned to start mine on my birthday but wished I started it ages ago.  Although it's really helped having a couple of weeks to really think about it.

That's so nice! I don't think my pics are very good (some others that I have bookmarked are fabulous), but it is fun to do it!

I'm thinking about starting one on my birthday (knowing that we're leaving on holiday two days later so I'll have something interesting to take photos of for a couple of weeks!)...

Wow!  Chary, yours is fantastic.  I wish I could do it, but knowing me, I'd forget one day out of three.

I'm doing one.  I sort of do a photo that represents my day or something I've been thinking about.  Sometimes, I do a photo of something I like the look of.  Many of mine are taken on my walks to and from work.

No, there are some much better ones! But I don't want to give the links away unless people say it's OK.  :)

I was going to start on my birthday as well, but got too excited and started it anyway.  I carry my camera with me everywhere I go, even if I'm just running out to pick up bread.  I find that having it with me helps to keep me inspired.

I've been using Photobucket for storage, and am happy with it.  Although I don't think there's a huge difference between all the photo storage sites if you're just looking for a place to dump them.

Speaking of which... I've got to upload the past two days to my blog!

Oh... mine is here.

What a fab idea! Why haven't I heard about this before? I must be living under a rock! Chary, I'd love to see some of the other ones you have bookmarked. Your photos are fab, too. AN - I like the doll house bit!! ;D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
