I enjoy comments, but I don't mind when people don't leave them. I hardly ever comment on other peoples but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy looking at them!! I know some of my family look at mine and don't comment but whenever I speak to them they tell me how much they enjoy it and that's enough to make me happy!  :D I guess I sort of look at my 365 and my blog as being a bit of a chronicle/diary for myself more than for anyone else - though it's a nice bonus to know that others look and enjoy....

That's kind of how I feel.  I love getting comments but I'd still do it if I didn't.  It's really a project for me and my underused brain.  My Mom and my daughter both look at it and usually tell me stuff when I'm talking to them.  People from work look at it too and comment when they see me. :)

I agree, ladies. I do my 365 more for myself than anyone else. First, to have a record of my life, but also to improve my photography skills. Plus, it's fun! If I saw it as a chore, I'm pretty sure I'd have abandoned it a long time ago.

I'm finding this week a struggle because I'm home and not doing much.  Todays picture might have to be the hoover!

Those are the ones that I always like best.  I always find it interesting what people photograph when they feel they're having an uneventful day.

Then you must love mine!  :P I need to get more clever with mine. See I hadn't even thought of taking a picture of the hoover but that would have fit Sunday a lot better than what I've got (and, er, as usual, not posted yet)....

If you see a picture of my cat you know that I have done NOTHING all day.

Thinking about it, I did once do the mop.

Me, too.  Yesterday is a perfect example.

I'm saving the tea kettle for a desperate day. Admittedly, I do have a very nice kettle...

When in doubt, there's always dinner. Or pudding. I have a lot of food photos. :-[

I consider getting a photo of my cat to be an accomplishment! As soon as I get the camera out he comes up and rubs against my leg. Or jumps in my lap. Pest. ;)

Don't get me wrong, I don't expect comments on every pic every day. This is decidedly about me and my family's expectations of me - and vice versa. I enjoy doing this very much and I have no intention of stopping (though I may have implied so on the 365 itself! ;). But in this case, it's all bark and no bite!

I don't want to turn this into the 'poor me' post, but feeling as isolated as I am up here now, when all my family live within 45 min drive of each other, a little communication with me would be nice.

So, moving right along, YES! I've been having a hard time with pics not getting out so much. Photos of the sheep, cows, and back garden view are getting old! And I don't want this to be the Sammy and Jacob show. I've already posted a pic of the hoover... next up, the washing machine! :P
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Balmerhon,
I can't get enough of the landscape pictures and to think you only have to look through your window to see them.
I have a thing for cows since I hung out at a couple of dairy farms in England when I was younger.
I would swap that fresh air for this hot desert air in a heart beat.

I feel your pain.  Yesterday's photo was the best of over thirty taken!  She's got a sixth sense for when I turn on the camera, so I can't even sneak attack her.  It's too bad, considering how freakin' adorable she is.  Her loss, I suppose. ;)
