Mine got really messed up. I posted one out of order and then I just went through a "blah" period.

So what I'm going to do is start up again from today and just add however many days I've skipped to my end date. I can't get caught up at this point but I don't want to abandon it!!

I think mine may have got a bit out of order, too, Anne. But I'm just going to push on thru like you are.

BTW, I'm in the process of setting up a new blog for something else entirely and even though there's only one post, it got tagged by Blogger's spam bot and is now locked! I've done some digging and apparently this can happen at any time and is a huge pain to get it unlocked. Seems like Blogger takes their good sweet time when they need to unlock things. Hopefully it won't happen to anyone's 365.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I just started mine and I am so excited!  http://helenproject365.blogspot.com/

Of course it's day one so there's not much there, but I thought I'd put it out there anyway!

I was the only one I knew under the age of 80 in the states...  Here they are everywhere!

I haven't met any here, but my college roommate in the US was a Helen! Out of 5000 students, there were only 3 Helens, and 2 of us lived together!

Yes, this happened to my running blog back in the spring! Was a huge pain, and took about a month to get unlocked! I had already set up an alternate blog in the meantime and confused everyone with the change. Ended up just going back to my original blogspot one, though....

Nice hearing others who got behind.  I was so into it and then pregnancy and the fact that my husband is finishing his MsC in Computer Science and is usually on our computer working on final projects got me way behind.  I'm getting back in the swing and have a million pics to upload, but I haven't managed to carry the motivation to uploading things--just need to force myself, I guess.  I will update soon.  :-[

I've been thinking about doing one for quite awhile. I did start one a few months ago but after a few days it went tits up.

I've got a holiday coming up, so I'm hoping that that will sort of kick start it and get me into the habit of doing it everyday. Watch this space.

Well, I'm learning to let go a bit with my perfectionism, as I've fallen behind, oh, quite a few times now, and normally would delete the whole thing and begin again, but... that's dumb.
So I just keep fair count of the days when I do take a photo.  So it will be 365 photos, but it will take me more than a year... oh well!

Any tips for taking pictures of the moon? Mine always looks like an orb. Do I really need a special lens or is there a setting on my camera that would work?

Probably don't need a special lens, but you will need a tripod, so that you can use a slower shutter speed (to let in more light and thus rendering a more true image). My camera has a night setting. You might try that. I sometimes just experiment with different settings to see how they work!

I used the roof of my car to take the photo in this entry, no special lens, and probably the night setting (I forget).

I have a 13 megapixel digital SLR camera (courtesy of my photographer husband). For this photo, I used a 200 millimeter lens with a 2X extender on a tripod. Then I super-cropped the image.

What kind of camera do you have?
