Not that kind!!! Thanks for the tip, I'll quit trying to take one!  ;)

Oh, no! I didn't want to put you off! It's just a really hard thing to photo without good equipment.

No, that's okay! I figured you had really good equipment to use. I've tried all different settings on my camera and couldn't get it to work. I'll just keep looking at your picture instead!  :D

I'll email it to you and you can post it on your blog!  ;D After all, it's the same moon that you saw too, right?   ;)

I'm getting bored again trying to come up with pictures. So, I wondered if anyone might like to do a theme sort of thing?

For example, every Monday you've got to take a photo of a certain type of thing. The categories would be very general, and really open to interpretation. (ie. transportation, light, windows, circles -- anything, really!)

This isn't very well-thought out at this stage, just wondering if there's any interest. If so, we could make up our own rules.  8)

I'd be up for it, but it would be dependant on actually remembering the day's theme of course, which I'm not prepared to make any promises about  ;D
I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I like the idea... I just updated mine and the pics of the boys, while still cute, are getting a wee bit tiresome...
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I'm up for it - weekly or monthly.
I'm in a photographers group on LJ, and they do monthly 'challenges' (really, themes) such as movement, water, a specific colour, etc.  So while the category could be very general, it help to really look at/for things to shoot.
As far as rules, I'd say allow the theme to help you find something, but if you take a photo of something that you love, then post that!  Even if it's nothing to do with the theme.

I think it's a good idea. I'm up for it.

Here's my annoyance with Blogger....if you are moderating comments, you can read the comment before publishing it, but you don't know which picture the person is commenting on! Does anyone else get annoyed with that?

It usually references the photo to which the comment was posted... no ???

It references by the subject title you've given that day's entry ... for mine it's 204/365, or something like that. But if you don't give your photos any titles, then I guess you wouldn't know which photo the comments refer to. But even on mine, I don't often remember which photo was #204, so I just approve the comments and go back and look at the blog to read them later.

I hate it when I can't decide.  Should I go with drunk women or disco lights?  I feel like I use too many of people but objects bore me.  What to do?

I always go with people, if I can.  I find it more interesting, but that's just me.  :)

Drunk women. Definitely drunk women. Particularly if they're drunk women I might know.

I like looking at other people's photos of people, but for some reason I always seem to choose shots of 'objects.'

Mine doesn't do that! It just has the comment, the person who made it, and whether I want to publish it or reject it. I end up having to trawl through all the comments to see where it ended up. Hmmm....I'm going to have to investigate further.

OK, I went and looked. In the emails I get, it references the entry title, but in Blogger itself, it doesn't. Do you have yours set up to send you an email when someone comments?
