Great pics Michelle! All those pics of Cumbria/Scotland are bringing back lots of memories for me... plus, I'll be living there as of next weekend again!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Hopefully mine will be filled with pictures of a cat (and a dog? :) ) before the 365 is up!

DH has given the links to his family so they can keep tabs if they wish during the moving process, so it may not be 100% what I am thinking at the time. ;)

I've never heard of this before and I'm somewhat transfixed by the idea!  I really want to do one, but I'm worried about if I can stay on top of every single day.  I absolutely loved looking at the other pages in here.

I'm wondering where would be good to post.  I used to have a blogspot page and hadn't used it in a while--somehow the page got deleted.  I'm worried I will lose something that I've worked hard to create once the year is up.  Does anyone know how that works?  I also have a photowebsite on smugmug that I've loved.  I could use that too, I guess.

I think I'm talking myself into this.

I don't know why your site got deleted though you might find info in their FAQs. But, regardless, as long as you save all your pics, you can get the html code for your site and save it in a word doc or something like that. I don't know about blogger, but I'm pretty sure Type Pad offers a way to archive sites, too.

Oh, I've already messed that up.  But, unlike projects I've let slide due to imperfection before, I'm just gonna keep going and maybe add on the days I miss!

Last November I was trying to think of a project. I thought of doing this after looking at one of JuneHawk's blogs. I then saw my Rachel Ray 365 cookbook and decided to do food instead, figuring it would kinda be taking pictures too. I guess I like making things more complicated. I want to learn to take better pictures, so I thought this would help out. I still kind of want to do this...

wow, this is such a good idea, and you guys have inspired me to start one too!

I have a feeling this will be getting alot more attention that my halfhearted attempt at a proper blog I started a couple of weeks ago. Posting one photo a day is alot less effort than actually composing coherent sentences!
Ok, so I'm smug.
