Anyways, I'm gonna go cry to my local DVLA tomorrow, if that doesn't get me anywhere,I may try and persuade the video conference route.  Afterall, I am a skype expert these days, haha

Thanks everyone for the support- its not fun to be without your passport and feel "trapped" in a foreign country!

Gahh, it gets even more interesting...
When I phoned again today, apparently it went out yesterday via Royal Mail- But I never gave it up with a special envelope- so...Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, any bets it will get here by Tuesdsay?????

That's the beauty of living in the UK, it usually doesn't take very long to get (domestic) mail here! So if it really was sent yesterday, it *should* arrive by Tuesday.  I hope it does!
