Have a google for "british cuts of beef" - worked for me when I wanted to find chuck steak!

In the 'Just Do It' section on this forum, i think there's a bit about meat, and someone has posted charts with the comparisons of different cuts of beef.  Just in case you want to have a look.

You can't even get Tri-tip in all parts of the U.S.  it's a western thing!  At the moment, I can't recall where the cut is from on the animal, so staring at the british cuts chart is not helping me!
