Skye, Bath, Oban, Oxford.  But my heart will always be in London.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Yorkshire! ;D

Especially Fountains Abbey, Whitby, and the Yorkshire Dales, and Leeds, York, Harrogate, Ilkley..........

Followed by the northeast (Northumberland) coastal areas, and the Peak District. :)
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

All of those places are terrific!  I also love West Penwith in Cornwall (and Cornwall in general).
Also--Edinburgh, and the Antrim Glens in Northern Ireland are gorgeous (Cushendall and Cushendun are where I've stayed before).

Not telling.
I don't want other people to go there and ruin it.

I really love Brecon Beacons in Southern Wales...although I haven't seen Snowdon yet (my hubby and I are going to climb Snowdon in May  ;))  I might change my mind on that one.

The area we're moving to is my most favorite (nr. the Cotswolds) but I really love the Malvern Hills. I think because it reminds me a little tiny bit of Skyline Drive and Shenandoah Valley, which is near my house in the US.

I quite enjoyed Whitby.

Never been, but I really like Scarborough (just south).   :)

My mum was born in Malvern and my grandma grew up there!  The hills are lovely, aren't they? Have you walked to the top?

Oh, yes! One of my favorite pictures is my husband on the top with the wind blowing his OS map all around.

And the first time we walked to the top, we had huge backpacks on our backs. Because we were so top heavy, the quickest and easiest way down was to slide all the way on our bums - so much fun!

You're right, the hills are lovely. And so is the surrounding countryside.
