He was standing outside Capital Radio by Leicester Square when I saw him from the bus. I got off and walked up to him and asked him for his autograph. He was very nice (shorter than he appears on telly, but not surprised by that).
I did manage to not seem too much like a star-struck freak - just told him that I thought what he did for women and how he made them feel better about themselves was really great.
And, please, no posts in this thread about anything horrible anyone's "heard" or read about him. I want to keep my fantasy that he really is a lovely man who loves to make women feel good about themselves. There's enough tearing down of each other in the world. If you don't have something nice to say about him, say nothing at all, please. Thanks.
