Well, our Wii has been ordered and it should arrive either Friday or Monday. A Wii Fit, however, has been more difficult to locate. We'll just have to wait!

(Yippee!)

Just to bump this thread.....

I went on a friends this weekend and loved it, so am going out to get one today.  Do those of you who have had it for a while still use it, or did the novelty wear off?

Vicky

I still use it. I don't use it as often as I did but mainly because of the time of year. In the nice weather I am trying to get out walking and things more so I don't have as much need for the wii fit. I still use it a 2-3x a week and I am sure it will increase again when the dark mornings and nights set in.

I have just started bike riding this week for the first time in..ummmm..probably 26 years. It has been a challenge, but if my fitness level hadn't been increased with wii fit I don't think I could be doing it at all!

Which is why pre-ordering is a gift from the gods.

There'll be more in stock one of these days. They are available now, but I can't see the sense in paying double what the price should be.  >:(

We got ours in Game last week.  Just walked in and asked.  Must have gotten lucky, I guess.

Is it really out of line for me to ask how much it was?

That is exactly how everyone who got a Wii Fit in Dh's shop got one they still have people in the pre-order book for Wii Fit. Dh calls there games & console supplier everyday to see if they can order any but since they are a small bussiness they are only alloted a small amount if any.  ::)  :P

I have been wanting one of these, and I think I'll have to get it in the states since that's where we bought the Wii...  Does anyone know if they are still as hard to get there?  Should I order it yesterday?

About £70.   The teenager told me that's how much I would pay anywhere.  Was she lying to me?

I think initially they were about £60 - and hopefully they will be again if people start getting stock in. But now it's generally about £120, so you got a great deal! Yay for the teenager!
