Can this be done? I charged our plane tickets to the US using my US credit card and my BF was just going to make the payment using his card to pay his portion. I have to pay using a bank account, but I'm not sure if I can use an overseas account or not. Any idea?

Thanks!

You'd need to transfer the funds from the UK into your US checking account and then pay the bill from that.

Yeah, thanks. That's what we were hoping to avoid, but it seems that was the case. Thanks for replying!

I work for a credit card issuer in the states and it will vary from comp to comp.  We do accept payments from foreign banks in their home currency, but charge a fee as well as converting the funds to u.s. These can rack up though.  Check w/ your cc customer service or on their u.s. based website.
