Custard creams aren't. Bourbon biscuits are!

Yeah, i've never got the british love of custard creams. Cheap and nasty... reminds me of the cheap cookies that were on sale in the supermarkets....

Blasphemy!  :o ;)

But there are cheap custard creams and then there are lovely custard creams! (Though I'd still take a cheap custard cream over an Oreo any day of the week!)

I admit, i'm a snob and don't like any storebought cookies. My kids don't even know what they are..

Funnily enough, when I was a caterer, I used to sell to one cafe that hated "soft cookies" - so I basically had to overcook all the cookies until they were crispy. Now that was blasphemy!  :-X

Well if we are talking best biscuits - hob nobs with or without chocolate.

I agree. Homemade are always better. And I'm another who hates soft cookies. Bleh! They taste and feel stale to me!

Out of curiosity, I bought these today and they're actually pretty good. They taste like neopolitan ice cream with the cookies from cookies n cream ice cream mixed in.

[smiley=curtain.gif] Me! I don't like them. I'm not a fan of most crunchy cookies/biscuits, though. I LOVE soft cookies!

I don't like Oreos most of the time, but I do like them as cookies 'n cream or Oreo Blizzard. Once in a while I'll eat Oreos, but I buy the Double Stuff and prefer the filling.

I can't stand Oreo Cakesters!!!  [smiley=bleck.gif]

I love Oreos...but i suspect it's partially because I remember sharing them and a glass of milk with my dad when I was a kid.... If you have them with milk they are good. Otherwise, they are like any other cookie.

I really like the flat bars that have raisins in them in the UK..My grandmother/nan used to give them to me as a kid..Don't remember what they are called...

Maybe flapjack? I love flapjack, but I like the plain without raisins or fruit.
