Topic: Indefinite Leave To Remain (Processing Time For Reconsideration)  (Read 11882 times)

Hi

Everyone

I want to know what is the processing time for reconsideration of an refused application for ILR (on 5 years basis)( under new evidences ) .please someone answer this .

A formal appeal needs lodging in 10 days, and the hearing is usually tabled within 3 months.

A recondideration request must be lodged within 7 days and the response can take any time, there is no standard.

Thank You for replying.

when we called Ho they said i can send my reconsideration with new eveidences as soon as possible they have'nt mentioned anything like 7 days ........is it 7 working days or just 7 days(including saturday and sunday).Do we need to calculate 7 days the day we received the passport or from next day .please assist me in this .

victoria  as i already send my application  for reconsideration . one of my friend advice me to withdraw as she thinks and her experience that most of the cases for review and reconsideration are negative . (but i have strong evidences)what do you say on that .I know each case has its own merits .  u have any experience where Ho turn their decision  to positive for reconsideration . please answer this .

No way at all I (or anyone else) can comment without knowing the reasons for refusal and your grounds for review.

so it seems there are successful cases for reviews .any expert can shed some light on this. Even my date is coming nearer to apply . I am going to apply in end of this month.getting prepare for the worst.victoria do u have successful cases in your career for reviews.
