Tier 5 Statement of Intent Full Text

Those affected by it, and those advising those affected by it, should give it a close read.  If you think a provision warrants comment, you would be invited to PM me.

It's a first draft, so expect clarifications and rephrasings as time goes on.  But the major points of the new T5 have been hammered out.

The cut-off time for applications in the old Youth Mobility scheme is October 2008.

I think it's good that UKY is a community that stays on top of things, hence this post...

This affects everyone with a Work Permit.   Currently, it's the same as posted on the BIA site; the only difference is that I keep ALL versions because it enables me to track when, where, and how something changed. 

The BIA only keeps the current versions of these documents, which can be a headache for practitioners.  But fortunately there's an advocacy initiative to preserve all the stuff and they are having meetings with librarians and archivists so as to bring this about.

What about t3/4?
