People ask all the time for Lipton tea and while they sell the bottled versions here, they don't actually sell the teabags. When I was in Holland a couple weeks ago, I saw the teabags for sale everywhere!  So I don't understand why they don't sell them here.

Orange Pekoe and Ceylon are the commonly used teas in the states for making iced tea.  And yes, these are black teas, just graded differently.  It's about the size of the leaf.  I have a brita filtered kettle that I use for everything and it does help a lot.  I hate finding bits of limescale floating around in my glasses of water or in the bottom of the ice tea jug. While cooling is a big factor for the cloudiness of teas, so is not brewing it too strongly.  Oh!  the art of tea making!  lol

Try Yorkshire hard water tea. We have serious hard water in our area but I find with a Brita and hard water tea bags you don't get that gross limescale film on hot or cold tea. Now if only it was easier to fill ice cube bags from the Brita all of my problems would be solved! In the US I had a faucet mounting filter. It's still in a box at my mom's - I may bring it back and see if I can fit it to the kitchen faucet here....

Just an FYI for anyone who is Pregnant or Trying to Conceive, Agave Nectar has been known to cause uterine contractions, so it's not recommended if you are either.  I've only read this on-line, so I don't know for sure, but I thought I should share the info just in case.

Sorry for the hijack.

That is a fantastic bit of information.  I believe I will be drinking it straight from the squeezie bottle in a couple weeks time!
