Finally I got to see this. From home mind you but well worth the wait. I had to take an intermission after the Miranda part but still good stuff.

*hugs* HM - that sounds painful. :(

I have seen it twice now and loved it so much more the second time, when I wasn't full of anticipation and expectations.

Cheers Stella.

I am going to watch it again but not for a little while. I absolutely loved it though

I am on a huge S&TC kick myself now. I even got the book of the movie. It reminded me so much of when I was a kid and Star Wars came out, getting the hardback photo book of the movie from B Dalton's, only this is for grown-ups.

Looking forward to adding it to my DVD collection! It was a lot of fun. Do you think they will do another??

I'd like to think they would but to be honest, I don't know if they should. I mean, it's already a few years later in the movie and we know what happened to them and anything else would be pushing it. It's kind of like Indy, leave a good thing alone or you'll destroy it.

Is the book worth reading? I really think I might enjoy it if it is.

I enjoyed the book. If you're a collector, or you like the fashions in it, and a little background on the movie making, it's worth it. Did you see the series companion book? It's like that. Since I am a fan of the show, it was totally worth it to me.

You're probably right about the sequel. I was just thinking instead of doing another series they could just do a two hour movie every couple of years.  ;)

I should add the photos in it are lovely. (That is my word of the day). And either there are some scenes that did not make it into the movie but did into the book or the theatre I saw the movie in cut a bunch out of the movie, there's some photos that I did not see in the movie. Did Carrie go trick-or-treating with Charlotte, Harry and Lily in the movie? And did she call Samantha while she was on a pay phone?

Were they planning another series? I know there was or maybe is another show that is supposed to be like SATC. I never heard much about it but what I did hear was interesting.

No I didn't see those other scenes. They definitely weren't in it and I just saw it last night so I am sure.

I think maybe the other series was Lipstick Jungle, the other Candace Bushnell book (never saw the series but just finished the book as it came free with Cosmo)? AFAIK there are no plans for another SATC series or movie. Just wishful thinking on my part.

So there's another plus for the book, then, as it has photos of deleted scenes in it. It's funny because the pay-phone scene is on that's been in publicity stills - odd it ended up on the cutting room floor.

I stayed out of this thread until I could see it in case there were spoilers, but apparently there weren't! I just saw it today with my friend and we both loved it!

I love Sex and the City, but I'm afraid another movie would ruin it.

And azroomie, I got teary-eyed a few times too.  :\\\'(

I had been dying to see this film but I was waiting on two of my friends. Neither of them had seen the show so they were watching the entire series first. Well, it was killing me so last weekend I was having a little moan to Jon about it and he took me to go see it.

He hated it, god bless him, he was bored stiff.

By oh my, how I loved it so.

I got all sorts of emotional.

Can't wait to go see it again when my friends finally get their acts together and finish the series.
