Okay, there's this lovely little sandwich shop near my work that does some really yummy ones. In my ever-present endeavour for frugality, I'd like to copy some of the recipes to improve my own home lunches.
However, my Google-ing is failing! My favorite filler is called "Italian chicken" - it's a reddish color filler of chicken pieces in a reddish savoury sauce. It's not as "saucy" as something like bolognese & mostly tastes subtly herby & tomato-y. I cannot find a recipe on the internet ANYWHERE. Has anyone ever heard of this Italian chicken before??
I also love the minted lamb...I haven't looked for a minted lamb sandwich filler recipe yet, but if anyone has one to share, I'm grateful!
