We're going to Liverpool to see what this European City of Culture business is about for hubs' birthday - his choice. I was angling for something a little more exciting than that, but I am just looking forward to a break away. I am excited to go to the Tate Liverpool to see the Klimt exhibit, anyhow...

Nope, we haven't planned or booked anything yet.  There are hopes and dreams...and then there is cost.  Reading everyone's plans is making me  :\\\'(.

ETA: sorry if this is duplicate, but I can't see this posted - I think maybe it timed out

We were going to go to Lewis/Harris for a week, but as the turbo is most likely going to have to be replaced in our car   [smiley=bigcry.gif] [smiley=bomb.gif], we will probably just end up staying home.

Oooh....I love Cambria, DH used to live there and i've visited it tons, would love to live there!  Have fun  ;D
Not too loud we don't want everybody to find out about it. We go there about every couple of months on our way back from LA. We will be there around the 15th of July. Love that place.
We stay at the Blue Dolphin. It is very clean, well kept and across from the ocean.

We are going to Marrakech in September.  I am so excited.  Staying in a little Riad near "the heart of the ancient medina."

Oooh, *loved* Marrakech when we were there!  Try to get out to Essaiorra on the west coast as well.

We're going to NY for Thanksgiving (which we haven't booked yet), so that's about it, I'm afraid.  But I'm hoping we can squeeze in two days in Southwold in August--former flatmate is starring in a theatre production there.

We are going to Paris this weekend (took advantage of the BA sale a few weeks ago) and I am meeting my folks in Prague in October to see the NY Rangers kick off their season!
I wanted to try to get to Italy at the end of the summer but I dont think time and money are going to be on our side :(
Good things come to those who wait...a really long time.

We are going to Provence for the last two weeks of August. Other half has really splashed out on this one and speaks of the holiday and the villa with "infinity pool" on a daily basis. Possibly hourly. I'm just looking forward to being somewhere rural, quiet and peaceful...with a croissant or two.

We've book an all inclusive to Taba, Egypt for next week. We'll make day trip to Cairo as well. I have a friend who went a few years ago, and she keeps telling me stories about men coming up to her boyfriend and trying to trade camels for her in Cairo!
