'Ripper Street'.  I really like it and I don't usually get too excited about TV shows.  It sure doesn't hurt that Matthew MacFadyn is in it.  *And* it's set in Victorian times.  *sigh*.

I couldn't help but wonder what visa / passport the Canadian 17x nephew was on to be working here as a cabinet maker.

I don't know what program you're referring to, but your comment reminded me of something.  I watched the program Buskers a couple months ago.  They followed several different buskers around Edinburgh and Glasgow and there were these two young women who said they came over every summer to busk.  They said they made so much money it was worth it to buy the flight over.  I thought, surely that's not legal!

We are always late to the game, but R received The Killing set for xmas and we have been loving it!

Still saving the final series of that for a marathon. But now Engrenages is back on.....

The final episode in Howard Goodall's six part series The Story of Music.  I think he is brilliant and have a bit of a crush on him--I wish there were six more episodes!
