I sent my application overnight last Thursday and it arrived at the LA consulate on Friday. I got an e-mail on Tuesday that my package was opened and to give them five working days to process it. Yesterday, I get a phone call from a very nice lady from the consulate that said she wanted to ask me a few questions. She asked me about my significant other's name, DOB, when we met, where he lived, our wedding plans, etc. Then she asked me what date I wanted on my visa, and when I told her June 27th, she said, well everything looks in order, I will send this through to be processed. I was in shock, and I asked her, "So does this mean my application is approved and I get a visa?" And she said yes!! I was so excited and called DF in the UK right afterwards. (I wasn't expecting a phone interview and was just so happy to know that I was approved so soon)
