13 I was babysitting for my parents' friends one evening, and after the kids went to bed, I wanted to watch a movie (beta was brand new-early 80's.) They weren't even marked or anything, and I put it in the VCR, and this was me .

Well, it must have been in the first week that I came to visit him for the first time which was this time exactly two years ago....so I was 42!

i always had older cousins  so not until my late 20s

Very young--maybe around 7.  Not good at all.

This is sad - I was 18 !

I used to get nightmares as a kid and hated the thought of waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to see, so I always kept a lamp on at night. It wasn't until I got to uni and shared a room that I got used to sleeping in the dark... and now I can't sleep if there's a light on!

23, as soon as I graduated from college.  I was finally ready to do it!

11ish?  My Nana paid me $5-10/week (depending on what I did) to clean up around her house. She lived alone and didn't get off the couch, so it didn't take too much effort to get clean.  I did that until I was old enough to get a permit to work (14) to get a real job.
