How old were you when....?

How were were you when you first lost a friend through drama?

good question.  23--lost two that year.  One realized she was gay and for some reason the love relationship must have been all-consuming because she couldn't be friends with me at the same time.  The other was just mean and negative towards me all the time, but since we'd been friends since childhood I was very sad to end it, but knew I had to for my own sanity.

How old were you when you decided you didn't have the time or energy for a love relationship?

I dont think I've ever had that tbh, I'm a bit of a romantic

College, when I had a couple teachers who wanted to buy my artwork!    So about 20, 21.

How old were you when you first felt truly apprehensive about your future?

About 24 when I first left the Navy and I didn't know how well my skills sets would transfer to the civila world. As it turns out, they transfered very well.

How old were you when you had your first trip to a dentist?

 

College, when I had a couple teachers who wanted to buy my artwork!    So about 20, 21.

I was very intimidated by it.  Too bad I don't do any art these days. 

I was very young when we first went to the dentist--not sure what age.  Our dentist used to give me and my sister little toys for being brave patients.

How old were you when you first realized you needed to take better care of yourself (whatever that meant at the time--more exercise, better diet, earlier nights, whatever)?

grade  school  9  or  10  when the Richard Simmons  show used  to be on..

too young (by some standards)


How old were you when you first realised your parents still 'did it'?

Well, I'm 34 and my mother said something to me the other day which indicated that they still 'do it'. This was not something I needed to know!

14 and it was a summer job.

14 and it was a summer job.

Sixteen, I believe, I went to Austin to visit some friends. Though I liked the city, I didn't fall in love with it like many of my friends have.

How old were you when you pulled your first all-nighter?

I was 17 or 18 - in high school, trying to finish up a school project. My best friend was visiting from out of town and stayed up all night with me and helped me get it finished.

How old were you when you got your first car?

17 right after graduation! (And it was a truck!)

How old where you the first time you went on a plane alone and how far was the flight?

23, I think.  Philly to Chicago, so a couple of hours.
