I was 26 when it slowed down, but would occasionally get carded until I was about 31. (Which was nice!)

How old were you when you first donated blood (if you have)?

Real, absolute true love was Chris when I was 20. He completely swept me off my feet then cheated on me. Years later, I ran into him and his wife while shopping. She wasn't the one who he cheated on me with though. I heard a woman barking and snipping away for quite some time, and happened to round the corner to find out it was her nagging at him.  ;D You could tell he was getting worn down from the constant nagging too. Oh karma, how I love thee! Not to mention the fact I wouldn't have been happy long term with him, but didn't realize it at the time.

How old were you when you overcame a childhood fear?

Swallowing pills! I practiced with M&Ms. And I was about 10.

How old were you when you first stayed out past midnight (whether authorized or unauthorized by your parents)?

Gosh, M&Ms are huge compared to any pills / vitamins I've had to swallow!

I'm sure I was relatively young.  Probably 14?  I used to ride my bike for hours and hours into the night sometimes.  I so loved it, with my transistor radio tied to it, just going round and round the block, sometimes into different neighborhoods as well.

I was 15 - we lived in the same house from when I was 3 until I was 15 and then we moved... but only down the road - the 3 houses my parents have owned have all been within a mile of each other on the same housing estate!

Randomly though, even though it's been nearly 13 years since we moved from that house, every time I dream about 'home', I am always in my old childhood home... I've never had a dream about the house we moved to when I was 15 :P.

How old were you when you got your first 'proper' (career) job?

Well, none of my jobs have been career-minded.  I got my first job at age 16, but it's been retail, making arty jewelry (not my own designs), food service, and more retail.  I've gotten as far as management, but it's always been 'just a job'.  But to me, it's a proper job if you take it seriously and do your best.

Maybe harp gigs are more 'career' minded?  In which case it would be at about age 32 or 33, when I first started playing I was offered gigs almost right away!

How old were you when you realized that your parents were far from perfect?

M&Ms were apparently preparing me for the horse pill sized vitamins I take 30 years later! And I love the fact you mentioned transistor radios.

Parents far from perfect = 7. When they told my bro and I they were separating (inevitably divorced too)  :(

I remember getting sandals with a one inch heel when I was nine, but the way they were designed they were easy to walk in. 'Real' heels, though, I was 13.

How old were you when you first started moisturizing daily, or nearly daily?

I can't remember exactly, but my parents were taking us to the cinema and drive in from a very early age, so probably about 3 or 4.

How old were you when you first dressed up for a formal dance?

I first started carrying one 'off and on regularly' at about 11 because the older girls on the school bus did and I thought it was cool. But, I say 'off and on' because I'd do it for a couple weeks, then not for a while. Daily was about 13.

How old were you when you first liked the taste of coffee (if you do)?
