If I trade my car in here in the US and then do European delivery can I register the car in the UK?

What can I expect as far as taxes if I do that?

When I did the ED the car was already registered when I took delivery and the registration was good for a year or something. I got the car at the MB factory in Stutgard, Germany so it had special plates on it and we drove in several countries and finally the UK where we droped it off in London to be shipped to San Francisco.
They wont deliver the car to you unless they have registered in your name.
