I've been looking for an appointment to register the birth of my daughter for over a month.  Is there any secret to how to get one?  The dates on the calendar for these appointments are all either blue (appointment date fully booked) or grey (date already passed or not yet open for appointments).  Is there a particular time that they release the appointment dates or something? I check every day and feel like I must be missing something.

I’ve heard it’s mostly on Weds or Thurs around noon or 2pm. Sorry I can’t be more specific!! Also I’ve only heard that from here.

I’ve not gotten an appointment either, but mostly because it’s very difficult for me to get to London with two under three plus husband with only a couple days’ notice!! Husband says he might be able to do that more like October as his work gets a bit quieter then.

Do they take the physical evidence of US residency and if so - do they return it with the passport?

Do you know if they release new slots at midnight like they do for visa appointments?

Hi

Need help - does anyone how to answer question 24-25 on the form?

Quote
Precise Periods of Time in United States

The instruction says:

Quote
24 and 25. Time spent in the United States: List all dates you have been present in the United States

The way this is worded I took it to mean that we need to list our entire travel history?

Or is it more about residency in the United States?
