Are canned artichokes hearts readily available in the UK?

Just checked Tesco online and they have them, so I'd say yes.

I get them in jars from Marks and Spencer. Tesco sell them too. They are probably available in just about every supermarket chain, so I'd say yes, they are widely available.

You can buy them in cans and the marinated kind in jars, every party I go to I get asked to make artichoke dip, I always have a few cans in the house. I love them.

I've only found the marinated ones in jars. Where have you found ordinary ones in tins?

The only place I've ever seen and bought the ones that are in the tins and not marinated is in Sainsbury's. They are in the aisle with lentils and whatnot

Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, and Sainsbury's. They are fairly commonplace, I make this recipe a lot and I never worry about getting them. My little tiny Morrisions carries them!

I've only had access to Tesco and Somerfield until a few weeks ago, and I never saw them there. But I'll check Morrison's. Thanks!  :)

Whats your recipe? I would love to know other ones. I do mine quite simply with 2 tins of artichokes, garlic, equal amounts of mayo and sour cream and loads of parmesean. I am going to make it tomorrow.

I use this recipe. It's a bit like yours, but includes spinach as well as artichoke. And I use parmesan, romano and mozzarella. And no sour cream, but cream cheese instead.

That sounds sooooo good right now! Think I could use a jar of marinated artichokes? I have one in the cupboard...
