Burger with krispy kreme bun...only in America...

Anyone ever seen this burger with a krispy kreme donut bun, a luther burger?

Why, oh why do Americans do this?  This is just as bad as deep frying everything and anything including snickers bars and oreo cookies.  Why the need to make something that's bad for you, even worse!!  Blech.

Do Americans deep fry Snickers bars?  Did they get this idea from the Scottish?

That started in Scotland.  I saw deep fried creme eggs in Glasgow for a while, but it was hard to get the oil temperature correct.  The creme went all gross.

Well I can see deep fried candy (not that I'd eat more than 1 bite or two) because its like eating fried dough with a chocolate center, but a burger with a krispy kreme bun? That's too much sweet and savory for me!

Do Americans deep fry Snickers bars?  Did they get this idea from the Scottish?

They were talking about these on the radio this morning. I can't wait for the county fair to come around so I can try one. (man, that makes me sound like a real hick   )

It's kind of a tip off that this thing is named after a man who, at one point, weighed 330 lbs. 

before living in london, i was in living in bellingham, washington, we had a place called burger me that did krispy cream burgers with bacon... never tried it, never will.

Paula Deen used to have this on the menu but now I just remember it being on the Food Channel. YUCK!
