hi there,

I don't think there's any need for panic just yet since you've applied only about 2 months ago. Majority of applications receive a reply within 6 months. I've had my citizenship come through in about 3 months. So, if you say you've informed HO with your new address details, you will be just fine... Best of luck!  ;)

I got my acknowledgement letter on 25 July and I'm still waiting. I included a letter saying I'd be away (for the past month), so I don't know if that's having an effect on how fast they're processing it. A bit disconcerting though, considering the council told me they were processing most applications in two weeks.

Congratulations!

The fee is included in the application, so you shouldn't have to pay anymore. Have a wonderful ceremony!

I'm now playing the waiting game too. Here are my dates:

NCS or Postal: NCS
Date of submission: 30 Sep, 2013 (Appointment was 28 Sep, a Saturday)
Basis: 3+ years residence w/ILR, married to a British citizen
Date of Acknowledgement Letter: 10 Oct, 2013
Date of Receipt of Acknowledgement: 15 Oct, 2013
Date of Debit: 10 Oct, 2013
Date of Decision:
Date of Receipt of Invitations Letter:

From the posts above, it looks like things have slowed a bit. From the looks of it, it's taking 2 months almost. Not bad in the grand scheme of things, I feel.

Happy waiting game folks!  ;)
