Are Brits welcome?

Unfortuantely most do Stacey, we were in Southampton, Kassie's first time in a UK city and they had anti-war and anti-Bush protesters with their banners, if looks could kill we would have killed tham all

That is awful!  Well, I hope that does not stop her from voicing her opinion!  Kassie don't let it!!! I have to admit, I am not a supporter, but I respect him a lot for fighting terrorism!  A LOT!!!!

Thats how I feel.  Thank you!  Like I said, its not like he's my dad or anything.  I can take criticism.  The only thing that would make me mad is generalisations about Americans.  But I will voice my opinion Stacey if I ever really need to, and if I get any lip for it, I'll tell them you said it was ok.

Trouble is she is a Bush supporter so anti-bush is the same thing but i know where your coming from I tell her every time the subject comes up there is very little anti-american-ism here despite the rep that seems to have grown around it, anyone else on here wanna back up our claims and convince the love of my life that there are lots of Brits who love Americans? 

Oh and Jeremy, thumbs up to Shropshire, very nice place, when Kassie arrives in England i wanna take her there but dont know the area too well, fancy being a tour guide for a few days? 

Well I love MY American husband but I certainly DON'T love Bush! (and nor does he)

Don't worry about it, Kassie and I are always on the subject of the difference in politics in both countires aside from all that hope things on here are working out for you
