Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have baby girl
« on: July 07, 2008, 05:56:49 PM »
I'm so happy for them. I always liked Nicole Kidman and felt bad for her after her divorce from Tom Cruise. I'm glad she's found happiness.

Yay! I'm so happy for them too! I love Nicole Kidman and am also a fan of Keith Urban. I'm so glad they found each other.

Baby girl's name: Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.  :-\\\\  I wonder why "Sunday"? Although I guess naming her Wednesday would've been too much like the Addams Family...hahahaha!  :D

Did she hide out for the past few months or something?  Don't get me wrong, I think it's nice and all but I am an avid TMZ and People online reader and the last pics I saw of her, she never looked more than 4 months pregnant or so. I was worried she may have lost it so I am really pleased to read her good news.  I actually like the name too.  It's adorable!  I wonder if she was conceived on a Sunday...

I had no clue she was even pregnant.

She's really tall and thin and athletic. My cousin is thin naturally and tall...she is full term and her son is due by the 13th. She doesn't look more than 5 months pregnant but her baby is estimated at almost 7 1/2lbs by his due date...right now he's 7lbs. All woman carry differently...thin tall woman have more room/length for the baby to stretch out.

I know!  Do you think she had a doctor on standby with a needle full of Botox, ready to go the moment she gave birth? ;D

I was thinking the same thing, she just never looked fully pregnant, it was weird. Congrats all the same.

She was recently photographed for the cover of US Vogue and you couldn't tell she was pregnant.  The wonders of photoshop?

I don't think it was photoshop - I think she just refused to gain weight. I saw loads of pictures of her out running, etc. and there was an article in some magazine not long ago about the workout regimes of pregnant celebs and she was one of them. I'm glad everyone is healthy and happy, but I think there's something a little sick about it all. It's bad enough that women feel such pressure to lose weight immediately after the baby is born, but to now start creating pressure to not gain weight whilst pregnant seems quite sad to me....  :-\\\\

Clearly she was careful about weight gain during her pregnancy, but I think a lot of the bump size is just genetics.  Look a this picture of Nicole's sister Antonia, just a week before Antonia delivered her fourth baby.  She does not have a huge bump either.
