I might be thinking too much, but I am from PA and I think I say coo-pon.  Maybe.  My brain might explode.

It could be regional within PA.  Sometimes now I am forgetting the US way of saying something or the US word for something.  I, too feel like my brain could explode at times.

I know the feeling!  I can't tell which spelling looks right anymore.  And I notice that when I get really worked up over something I tend to use British usage and pronunciation.  How weird is that?

I just use whatever I feel like using at that moment. Sometimes the 'u' goes in, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it's -er, other times it's -re, sometimes I say 'cue-pon', sometimes it's 'coo-pon'....it's really all about how I'm feeling at that moment!  :P

Interesting!  Maybe it's because there are so many British colourful phrases and slang that denote being worked up about something.

It's not common in New Orleans!! Honest to God!

I lived in NW Louisiana - nearly Texas. I guess that explains it.

I'm sure I say coo-pon.  Cue-pon?  I don't remember that from IA, CA or GA.  But maybe I just don't remember.  My brain ocasionally explodes too. :)

cue-pon.  coo-pon.   cue-pon.  coo-pon.

I have NO idea.  I really don't know.  That's a word I haven't said in 20 years.

Yeah, I'll pull out 'voucher' if I don't feel like trying to pronounce 'coupon'!  :P

Yeah, I was thinking of that too!
My annoying expression is DH constantly saying "What is, is".  I know he's trying to remind us that its no good dwelling on the past or worrying about the future because we can't change anything.  But every time he says it I feel like screaming!

Vent. Nooo. Don't dress it up - tell the truth - you're going to give out about something, b*tch about something, have a moan, whinge or generally get something off your chest. No venting please - ever.

My most hated phrases are already listed- Can't be asked, At the end of the day, etc.etc.
My ultimate is when my MiL says, in her condescending tone, "Well, do whatever you like." I'm pretty sure I would've done what ever I wanted to-even if she hadn't said that. What is that?! Is she giving me permission or something?! Makes my head want to implode and never come back.

Someone already mentioned one of mine "That's a good girl" when you do something.

"Shift your bum" "Ta" and "Tra-la" all drive me crazy. Especially "shift your bum." The black country way of saying "Phone" (Fo-oonuh) also drives me crazy.
