Coffemate does a line of flavoured powdered creamer now.

There are lots of different and interesting products here.

Yes, the other half buys them all the time for "jujjing" up his coffee at work. Coffee Mate Latte Creations - we've had double choc, mocha and vanilla.  You won't buy the Coffeemate that comes in the fridge section though...

Can you post a link for the rice-a-roni recipe?

http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/65/Homemade_RiceARoni36611.shtml

This is the one, only I use equal parts rice and noodles.

Thanks! If they have the pasta at the Tesco express, I might be making this to go with dinner!

Absolutely!! And that's one of the most fun things about living in a different country - trying out new foods!  ;D

What they don't have in the UK is the amazing selection of crackers we have in NA.  No Triscuits, Stoned wheat thins, Wheat thins, Cheezits.

I find the 'amazing' selection of crackers in the UK just fine. I am always trying a box of something new. Lots of yummy flavours too! Goes great with cheese of course.

Most certainly, I am all for trying out the stuff in the new country. Even when I travel I enjoy cruising through a market or supermarket and picking up a few things that look interesting.

That is one of my favourite things to do when visiting a new country, go into a local market and buy interesting things

ugh... i can't stand that 'greasy' feeling that Coffee Mate leaves in your drink!

Give me real milk for my coffee, please!  :)

Speaking of nice crackers... the Ryvita with sunflower seeds or the one with pumpkin seeds are both DELISH, especially with a bit of Boursin cheese spread on them..  :)

They are my husband's favorites.  I really like Cheesey Oat Cakes.

Ryvita is available everywhere I've lived.. you don't have them in the States?  (I don't like them.  Evil cardboard crackers, they are!)

My favourite crackers are butter puffs. The name alone tells you how healthy they are  :-\\\\  but they're oh-so-good!
