Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal

Anyone know of a grocery store or whatever, where you can purchase Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal?

How about Chase & Sanborn Coffee?

Rye bread?

There is lots of instant oatmeal (porridge) available (I can't remember if I've seen quaker, but maybe?)

No Chase and Sanborn Coffee.  Most coffee here is instant, but you can find coffee beans and regular coffee pretty easily. But its expensive and comes in small bags.

There is Quaker Oats here, though it's not imported from the USA..I remember looking into it and I think the Quaker factory is in Scotland? There are lots of variety of porridge here and they're very good.
 
Never seen Chase & Sanborn coffee here... Lavazza coffee is wonderful if you're looking for quality...

They sell swedish rye bread here in Sainsburys, which to me tastes different than the rye bread I knew and loved on a patty melt... It's much lighter in taste and sliced very thinly...

every supermarket i've ever used sells this... in Golden Syrup flavour and maybe one other variety.

Rye bread?

Lidl & Aldi both sell German rye bread.

They do sell Rye flour and caraway seeds so if very desperate for a stronger Rye bread you can make your own in a breadmaker or without of course. 

Scottish oats are yummy.  You can try the coarser steel cut oats in the USA before you even leave.  They are of course not a quick meal if that's what  you are after.  Like everyone said though you will find plenty of instant type porridges.

Oh forget them.... the nice really dense stuff.  Great with cream cheese and smoked salmon.

You know, I've had the British version of Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal (Poridge), and I found it tasted nothing at all like thestuff from the USA.

As far as rye bread, I have never once seen it at Tescos or Waitrose.

I was buying the Chase &  Snborn coffee off of ebay, but the guy selling it was from a US Army base in Germany and his prices were through the roof (I suspect he was pilfering it from the Officer's Mess).

Any other ideas?

Here I was thinking this was a designer coffee like Peet's, but it's more like Folgers!  Okay, option two, on Walgreen's you can have it shipped over. Looks like they'll charge you $20 to ship..... and 4 lbs of C & S is about $7.... So for $30, you could have it shipped over if you're that keen on the coffee. Either that, or you do what everyone else does for precious stuff..beg your relatives/loved ones/friends to ship it over for you as and when needed... Go to Sainsburys or Lidl. (if you're in this country? your name says NY) I'm surprised at Tescos as they seem to be the most diverse in different foreign type food.. but there you go.

My Tesco has rye bread, but it is not very dark rye and no caraway seeds.  It is in the bakery.

Same here.  I used to LOVE Quaker Maple Syrup Oatmeal in the US but what they have here in the UK tastes sooo different.  If you find something similar to the US version, do let me know because I miss it!
