Do you have a Lidl or Aldi near you?

Their pickles are pretty nigh on American in taste.

Is regular American-style pudding available??  Seems they call everything pudding except what we call pudding!  :)

it comes in a sachet rather than in a box.  i use a Lidl brand one that tastes just like a Jell-O instant pudding - you just add milk and stir.

If you must ship them, I imagine they're a bit pricey. Pickles are heavy!

If you live anywhere near a Selfridges or House of Fraser, they have American foods (including dill pickles) although it's probably only slightly cheaper to buy them there than to pay to import them.

One of the Tescos I've been in also carry what looks like baby dills, and they have dill in them!  The only ones I've found, it's a Tesco brand, but I forget what they're called!

I found one at Aldi the other day that was close enough to a dill pickle for me, although since I haven't had an American one for a few years now I might not remember the taste properly.

They were called Bramwell's pickled gherkins.

I have tried just about every "dill" pickle substiitue that can be found here.
To be honest I think they are all CRAP :)...
I actually would rather do without than to have what goes for pickles here..
I usually bring some back when i go to visit the states other than that i go without..
I thought the Aldi ones were horrid,Tesco ones did have dill but taste  minging.. pickles i have found here always seem to have sugar in them. what is with that? lolol
Aye i know im a dill pickle snob rofl...

I found good dill pickles in Golders Green in London.  You might want to check your nearest Jewish area.

We are a nation that has a government -- not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the earth. Our government has no power except that granted to it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.
Ronald Reagan

I order them occasionally from American Sweets (link above). They have Vlassic.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I like Claussen. Or the pickles from the pickle man at my farmer's market in PA.  Huge vats of garlic dill and new pickles and half sour.

I need to stop before I cry.
