Is there a chicken shortage or something???

I went to my local Asda today (its at Trafford Park, so its a pretty bloody big one) and they had NO CHICKENS!!! None at all, they had some chicken breasts, but the rest of the aisle with chicken was empty.

Was it just my supermarket???

I was in Morrison's today and there was the usual chicken supply.

Maybe there was a delivery problem.

For a while there was a free range shortage at my Sainsburys almost every week. They had a sign up saying they had increased demand and were trying to find a source. Now they always have them, but they're from France. So much for saving food miles.
