We looooove to smoke halloumi in our stovetop smoker. It's even better than grilling it, I swear!

On our grill we love to put corn on the cob (it's hard to find it in the husks in the UK, but when we do, it's best to leave the husks on and soak them before grilling), pitta breads, and then, after the coals have cooled down a bit, peaches or nectarines (in a little wire mesh basket) to have with ice cream as dessert. mmmm

My fiance's favourite grilling trick is to buy those packets of Chinese red pork seasoning and put one of those plus water plus sausages or pork chops into a ziploc bag and freeze. Then when we want to grill, we just defrost it that morning and they're all ready to go. I don't eat any junk food or processed foods so I know the seasoning is mostly e-numbers, some filler, but they really are just SO good...

Do ribs - I think it's best to parboil them first & then finish them on the grill.  I like to put a dry rub on them (usually something spicy with chili powder, etc) and then sauce 'em on top of that.  Google around & you'll find something you like!

Chicken is good too - but it'll be better for BBQ-ing if it's skin on.  Skinless tends to get too dry.

We also do vegetable skewers - red onion, peppers, mushrooms, etc - basted with an oil & vinegar type dressing.

Flank Steak, Pork Belly Strips, Chicken, anything really. Sausages, vegetables.
I love love love to BBQ and I do it all the time, I got a new gas grill this week, we put it together yesterday and I can't wait to use it tomorrow night!

I should say that I marinate meat with any jars of any old crap that I have the dregs of in my fridge, so my BBQ recipes are never the same twice!!!

I don't know which I like better - the taste or the squeakiness!!

I like it on skewers with chunks of veggies.

Soak some pieces of chicken or steak overnight in Italian dressing.  Skewer and grill.  Viola!

I do Chicken with Soy Sauce, plum sauce (Duck sauce, apricot sauce whatever people might call it) and garlic.  Throw it all in a zip lock bag mush it around, leave overnight and it's amazing!

Hmm, I need to thaw the chicken, now I'm in the mood of this.

This is my friends' fabulous chicken marinade/sauce recipe:

1/2 cup soy sauce
2 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoon dry sherry
1/4 cup salad oil
1 clove garlic - minced
2 green onions – chopped
8 pcs chicken or chicken breast

Combine the non-chicken ingredients, then marinade the chicken in it for 12-14 hours before grilling.
