Chary - It IS a good suggestion as they take up way less space but I have to agree that I don't like them either.  They're just really messy!  I was so excited when I first found those baggies but then my hands would practically have frost bite trying to get the ice out... and water everywhere... no no no...

I bought it...so there goes my £109.99
Will let you know how it works.

If you are in the Greater Manchester Area and you want to rent it out for any parties you might have, let me know, it will cost £5 lol.

I have one.. My husband suprised me with it when he was home for R&R.  It's big and takes up a lot of space.  I used it once while he was home (basically because he was so excited that he thought of it) and this past weekend when I had a raging hangover and was dying for ice cold drinks.

I can imagine it being very good if you have more then 1 person in the house.  But with just me (while hubs is away) it doesn't make much sense.  And it's big takes up half of my counter.

But I will say that it makes great ice and can imagine it will be great for a party once he comes home.

I have to join the 'hate them' club. But I prefer larger cubes anyway so that may be why.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
