Twitter..

Has anyone heard any dangers of  being on Twitter?  I mentioned that I was to my bf and he got upset/wants me to delete mine. I just stopped using it for now and researched it some more. He's afraid people are able to stalk without you knowing.

I think your bf is overreacting.  Unless you are giving out very personal details, I cannot see how someone would be able to stalk you.

I agree. It's up to you how much you choose to share with people. I would never say anything too personal and certainly wouldn't give away anything like an address or phone number! As long as you're not stupid about it, you'll be fine.

I use TwitterFox as well - but Twitter has fubared my account, and imposed a random follow limit on it, and refuses to reply to repeated requests for an explanation or answer my support request, so I'm not really Twittering a lot these days.    I may set up another account to use instead, but right now I'm not too pleased with the service.

Oh, and I'm helenze, by the way. I don't always twitter too much myself, but I enjoy reading what other people have to say!

I like when you do twitter, though! It's funny, being here in the States and following people in England kinda makes me feel connected in some way. I know that sounds strange, but it is kind of comforting? Like in some tiny way I get a glimpse of life over there since in my mind it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay far away on the other side of the world almost! lol Plus I'm following Scott Mills from Radio 1 and Lily Allen! Definitely a laugh reading their thoughts!
