I like skittles and cheez-its. Satisfies the sweet/salty craving. Salty popcorn works in a pinch, too.

I put cream of tomato soup in my mac'n'cheese (along with extra cheese).

Strawberries dipped in sour cream, optional brown sugar sprinkled on top.

Cream cheese and salami sandwiches. If you run out of bread, you can spread a little cream cheese on the salami and roll it up.
Ha! This totally reminded me of my best friend from high school who introduced me to:
Popcorn and hot tamales--the best tasting movie food ever.
cottage cheese and courgettes: take courgettes, slice up, steam in microwave, add to cottage cheese with a dash of soy sauce. So good!

Fritos and cream cheese is amazing too!

Never tried the JD variety but breakfast sausage with syrup is soooo good.

I'm a fan of pineapples and banana peppers on pizza, sometimes dipped in blue cheese dressing. And plain pizza dipped in ketchup.

i see a lot of my favorites already listed.

my sister is known for her weird combos. one of her favorite snacks is buttered popcorn and she squirts some juice from the pickle jar on top of it.

i can't watch her eat it.

one of my faves is scrambled eggs with cheese, and i put some of it on a crispy piece of toast with strawberry jam... cant get enough of it!

Try it with maple syrup, if you can find some! Grape jam also works well, I've found. :D

Thanks, Torred1771  ;D It's not just me! Mmmmm I love jimmy dean sausage on homemade buttermilk biscuits and gravy!

Finding our American faves is sometimes impossible, but I found this recipe  ;)

Jimmy Dean Maple Sausage

1 pound Pork, ground
3 tablespoon(s) Maple syrup
1 tablespoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon MSG(Accent)

Combine all ingredients and store overnight.
Shape into patties or links and fry in skillet.

If that turns out to be awful then this is the recipe for the original flavor Jimmy Dean.

Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage (Breakfast sausage)

1 pound Pork, ground
1 tablespoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Parsley, dried
1/4 teaspoon Sage, dried
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper, fresh ground
1/4 teaspoon Thyme, dried
1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes, crushed
1/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon MSG(Accent)

Combine all ingredients and let sit overnight to marry.
Shape into patties or links and fry in skillet.

I'm intrigued by this, but afraid to try it. I really haven't acquired a taste for cottage cheese (the texture puts me off more than anything), but I want to like it because it's good for my diet. I do love zucchini, though, so I may have to give this a try (I have some cottage cheese in the fridge anyway, just haven't worked up the nerve to eat any!)

Me either! Everyone raves about cottage cheese but the texture makes me gag it's like cold sick with squdgy chunks. I've tried a 100 different ways to like it, like mixing it with tuna and finely diced chives to make a faux tuna-mayo, using it for baking, blending it and it's still gross!

Re: cottage cheese, you may want to try some freshly ground pepper and salt if it is a taste thing rather than texture.  Mr A couldn't stand cottage cheese until he tried it seasoned a bit, which I do with any thing savoury with cottage cheese.

I love March Hare salad from the Moosewood cookbook, and I eat a modified version of it every single day we have fresh veg and cottage cheese in the house (so almost every day).  In fact, I just finished a bowl for brunch.  I mixed seasoned cottage cheese with a bit of mayo, added fresh tomato, chopped carrot, bean sprouts, and cucumber.  You can add anything that you'd put in a salad.  You can top with seeds or nuts, but I didn't bother today.

In the middle of winter I will add a half a can of chopped tomatoes to seasoned cottage cheese.  In the summer I will scoop out the insides of big tomatoes, mix with seasoned cottage cheese, fresh basil and mayo and stuff it back inside.  I pretty much use cottage cheese instead of salad dressing when I am in the mood for creamy instead of oily.

I pretty much do the same thing with egg or tuna salad (minus the cottage cheese though).

Toast with lots of melted butter, raw organic honey, and sea salt. It is HEAVEN! :)
We met in Tokyo through friends when we both lived in Japan.

Last year we moved to Thailand, got our first apartment together, got jobs with the same employer (!), didn't end up killing each other, got married, and decided to move to the UK to settle down.

London, here we come!
