X Factor 2008!

There is a campaign (started on Facebook, I believe) to get people to buy Jeff Buckley's version so that it will be number 1. It's already re-entered the UK charts.

It is Facebook - I joined it and have been trying to get all of my friends to join too. The problem is that the only downloads that are going to count toward the Christmas No. 1 are the ones bought from today. I can't remember the exact numbers but I think it was something along the lines of if 100,000 people download it twice it'll get there. After x-factor I think there were somewhere around 18,000 people in the group and I'd like to think it would have grown in the aftermath. I'm downloading it tonight.

I like Rufus Wainwright's version but I also really love Jeff Buckley's. Right now I'd take any version other than the x-factor cack.

I can't stand Jeff Buckley's version. 

Hallelujah aside, I thought all three of the X-Factor finalists were pretty dull. On the night, I thought JLS were the best, but that's not saying a lot.

Jeff Buckley's cover was the best.  It actually disgusts me that the X Factor winner is recording it.
