Your favorite Etsy shops?
« on: August 16, 2008, 10:58:44 PM »
I'm looking to get re-inspired and creative so have been perusing Etsy a lot. Both my SIL and MIL are looking to open Etsy shops and if I can figure out what I want to do, I may next year... but I'm just curious if there are any shops you particularly like (whether your've bought from them or not).

Please share!  :D
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I also like to peruse the website, some neat stuff on there.  I've never bought anything, though I would like to!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I just ordered two headbands from the loobylou shop.  I LOVE their stuff!  Thank you for sharing the link ;D

I'll be ordering from a few of the ones Dar has suggested as well I'm sure. ;)

I also LOVE coffee.bean.cards, by our very own Marlespo ://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5141155

Oh yes, I just ordered from Marlespo for the first time though I've been wanting to for ages!

Here are a couple sites I've found that I like the look of (I haven't ordered from them yet but want to):

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5032903 (felt brooches, ornaments, etc)
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=32016 (rubber stamps)
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6016505 (lino cuts)
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5079159 (prints and funky embroidery patterns)
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5061112 (lino cuts and other art, lots of Day of the Dead inspiration)
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5029156 (baby knits, especially cute beanie hats)

(sorry, too lazy to do the links with store names properly!)

I haven't been to Etsy much, but I just ordered candles from: AJ's Country Cottage and a pocketbook from ccdaycare.

The candles smell so much cleaner than brands I've bought before. The only problem is the wick mushrooms, but that is easily trimmed.

The pockebook is great!

I think this shop will get some Christmas business from me... some of these tees are perfect for the more wacky members of my family!
